No gross/net exposure figure is stated, and no derivative or short positions are disclosed in the June 2026 portfolio table. The scheme's stated investment objective permits short exposure through unhedged derivative positions in Ex-Top 100 equities up to 25%, but none appear in this disclosure. Fund inception was 8 June 2026, so this is the first month-end portfolio. Commentary states cash levels are 'temporarily elevated due to month-end flows'.
Normalised from the AMC's published portfolio statement. Derivative market value, notional exposure and regulatory gross exposure can be measured on different bases, so the AMC's own statement remains controlling. Holdings are historical and change without notice — this is not a recommendation to buy or sell any security.
A mid- and small-cap long-short strategy: at least 65% sits in companies ranked outside the top 100 by market capitalisation, with unhedged short positions in those same ex-top-100 stocks permitted up to 25% of net assets. Benchmarked to the Nifty 500 TRI, with daily subscription and redemption.
The objective, as stated in the scheme document. Edelweiss's Investment Strategy Information Document defines the aim as generating "capital appreciation in the long term by predominantly investing in equity and equity related securities of Ex-top 100 companies," adding that the strategy may take "short exposure through unhedged derivative positions in equity and equity related instruments of Ex-top 100 stocks upto 25%."
The mandate is explicitly SMID. At least 65% of total assets go to equity and equity-related securities (including REITs) of ex-top-100 companies — defined as everything other than the AMFI large-cap list of the 1st to 100th companies by full market capitalisation. Up to 35% may sit in other equity, up to 35% in debt and money-market instruments, and up to 20% in InvIT units.
Shorting is targeted at the same universe. The 25% unhedged short cap applies specifically to ex-top-100 stocks, so the short book is designed to express views within the mid- and small-cap universe rather than to hedge with large-cap index futures. Derivatives exposure may reach 100% of net assets, with cumulative gross exposure capped at 100%.
Daily liquidity and a short load window. Unlike several interval-structured SIFs, this strategy accepts subscriptions and processes redemptions on every business day. The exit load is comparatively light: 0.50% if you redeem on or before 90 days from allotment, and nil after that.
The management structure was revised after launch. At launch the strategy was managed by Trideep Bhattacharya and Nikhil Gada, with Amit Vora responsible for the overseas portion. With effect from 3 August 2026, Edelweiss added Ashish Sood as Assistant Fund Manager to that structure.
